Birthday boy Prince William now entitled to inheritance LONDON (AP) Britain's Prince William turns 25 today, meaning he's now entitled to part of the inheritance from his mother, Princess Diana.

Specifically, William now gains access to the income accrued on the 13 (m) million dollars he was left in his mother's will.

Experts say that amounts to at least 500-thousand dollars a year.

But sources say for now, William won't touch the money. His official spokesman isn't commenting.

William already earns about 44-thousand dollars a year serving in the Army. He also gets money from his father, Prince Charles, for accommodation, staff, and polo playing.

William is spending his birthday training with the Army in southern England.

Diana's estate was made up of stocks and shares, jewelry, her divorce settlement, dresses, and personal items from Kensington Palace.
