YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (AP) An upcoming road project in Yellowstone National Park that promises to cause traffic delays has itself been delayed for a week.

The project to resurface the road between Mammoth Hot Springs and Tower Junction was originally set to start Tuesday.

But park officials now say the road work won't start until August 6th, and will last through August 11th.

Delays of at least 30 minutes between the hours of 6 a-m and 8:30 p-m are expected.

Motor homes, tour buses and other wide, long vehicles may be delayed up to two hours. They could also be detoured around the construction zone through Canyon and Norris Junction.
