Dorothy ?Dolly? Weber was born January 24, 1928 in Mandan, the daughter of Louis and Rose (Swindling) Ciavarella. She was raised and educated in Mandan. Dolly met Ralph Weber at a local movie theater and the two were joined in marriage on June 22, 1950 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mandan.

Growing up in rural Morton County Dorothy was surrounded by the love and hospitality of her family. Her generous and kind spirit was evident in the manner she lived her life. She was sensitive to other people putting their needs first. Doing something for Dolly usually meant that she would return the favor tenfold. Her baking talents resulted in wonderful treats she gladly shared. The highlight in her life was her husband Ralph. Both enjoyed dancing, visiting and playing cards. Her dedication to Ralph through the years of marriage was an example of her gentle loving spirit, even in recent years being able to give him the loving care was her devotion to the love of her life.

Dolly?s caring spirit will be missed by her husband Ralph; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Cecelia (Herman) Dosch, Bismarck, and Donna Mayor, Mandan; three brothers and four sisters-in-law, Leonard, (Rosemary), Joseph (Carol) of Mandan, Kenneth, Adalaide and Agnes of Bismarck and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Catherine Bernhardt; three brothers, Michael, Herman and Anton; two sisters-in-law, Valerie and Betty; and two brothers-in-law, Leo Miller and Adam Bernhardt.
