Rodeo Begins Tonight

Some of the best cowboys and cowgirls from the region are in Minot tonight for the P-R-C-A Badlands Pro-rodeo Circuit Finals at the All Seasons Arena.

Earlier today organizers spent over 7 hours hauling dirt, setting up arena fences, and corrals transforming the All-Seasons into a rodeo-ready arena.

Jason Jenson is the chairman for this, the 53rd Y's Men's Rodeo.

He says the volunteers are the backbone behind the rodeo and they help make it a huge success...

(Jason Jenson, Rodeo Chairman) "We have about 80 volunteers that help with the setup and the dirt-in, we've got a great crew of the Minot Y's Men who come out and help with our efforts. This year we are the Badlands Circuit finals, instead of being a circuit rodeo like we were before, we're the championship in the circuit so these cowboys have hauled up and down the road fighting to get here and now they're hear for the championship to duke it out."

Tonight's rodeo gets underway at 6:30. It continues tomorrow through Sunday at the All Seasons Arena in Minot. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
