Truckers waiting for shipment of diesel fuel in eastern ND...Oct 8 2007 3:38PM
Associated Press (Don Haney, KFGO, Fargo) WEST FARGO, N.D. (AP) It's first come, first serve. That's why Wayne Pudil (PYOO'-dill) has his tanker truck parked in front of the Magellan pipeline terminal in West Fargo. The Grand Forks trucker is waiting for a shipment of diesel fuel expected to arrive sometime tonight or early tomorrow. Cenex is sending 2 million gallons from one of its Montana refineries in response to a diesel shortage in eastern North Dakota. Pudil says the diesel will go fast. He says its enough for about 50 tankers. Pudil is keeping his fingers crossed that there's more diesel headed for the area. He owns Wayno Trucking. He says his drivers are in Minneapolis and Alexandria (Minnesota), scrambling to get enough diesel to satisfy the demand. (Copyright 2007 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
