Attorney General Long hospitalized with bleeding ulcer

PIERRE, S.D. (AP) The South Dakota Attorney General's office says Attorney General Larry Long is hospitalized with a bleeding ulcer.

Long was running an Open Government Task Force Meeting in Mitchell yesterday afternoon when he became lightheaded.

An ambulance was called, and he was taken to Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell and put under observation.

Doctors have diagnosed Long with a duodenal ulcer.

The A-G's office says Long is expected to remain in the hospital for several days, but he's expected to make a full recovery.
