(RECASTS fourth graf) ST. PAUL (AP) Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty is gearing up for another campaign swing on behalf of Arizona Senator John McCain as the Republican presidential race shifts to Michigan.

Pawlenty says he expects to be in Michigan this weekend ahead of next Tuesday's primary, although travel details are pending.

Pawlenty hailed McCain's victory in the New Hampshire primary.

As the governor put it "Everybody had written him off for dead a few months ago. And now like Lazarus he has come back from the dead." Pawlenty is a national co-chairman of the McCain campaign and already has stumped on the senator's behalf in Iowa, New Hampshire and Michigan.
