Clinton aides are trying to keep expectations down, insisting they would be grateful for a win no matter how narrow. NEW YORK (AP) With the price of gasoline skyrocketing, motorists are looking for ways to cut back on fuel, either by traveling less or finding alternative means of transportation. Diesel prices are rising even higher than gasoline, putting pressure on trucking and other shipping companies. Washington (AP) The Bush administration is reportedly about to make a host of changes in the No Child Left Behind law. Sources say the education Department will unveil new regulations Tuesday. One big change will be a requirement for all states to calculate high school graduation rates in a uniform way. CHICAGO (AP) Police in Chicago say a man was shot to death in a robbery attempt at a McDonald's restaurant. That follows a weekend in which at least nine people were killed in three-dozen separate acts of violence. The Chicago police superintendent blames an excess of guns and gangs.
