On the flip side, voter interviews indicate that a quarter of those casting ballots in the primary have upper level incomes and about as many hold postgraduate degrees. Both groups tend to vote for Barack Obama. PHILADELPHIA (AP) Former President Bill Clinton has told WHHY radio in Philadelphia that Barack Obama's campaign had "planned all along" to "play the race card" on him. That was in response to a question about his saying that Obama's victory in the South Carolina primary was similar to Jesse Jackson's. NEW ORLEANS (AP) President Bush says record Gasoline Prices are "like a tax on our working people." Bush also told reporters in New Orleans, that the economy is in a "slowdown," not a recession. Bush and his Mexican and Canadian counterparts met for a second day today in New Orleans as part of the North American summit. SAN ANGELO, Texas (AP) More than 400 children taken from a polygamist compound two weeks ago have been put on buses and sent to foster care facilities all across Texas. Adult members of the sect have been providing DNA samples as state officials try to sort out the family trees of the secretive group. WASHINGTON (AP) Consumer groups say the government needs to add more to labels being planned for alcoholic drinks. The proposed label lists alcohol by volume, calories, carbohydrates and fat.
