PHILADELPHIA (AP) Barack Obama says he's counting on Indiana after his 10 point loss to Hillary Rodham Clinton in the Pennsylvania primary yesterday. Voters in Indiana and North Carolina head to the polls in two weeks to weigh in on the ongoing battle for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Washington (AP) Exit polls suggest Hillary Rodham Clinton can thank strong support from working-class white voters for her Pennsylvania victory. Meanwhile, Barack Obama won among new Democrats who had flocked to the party for the showdown and got 89 percent of the black vote.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) An Alabama death row inmate who was challenging the state's method of lethal injection has died of cancer. Daniel Siebert had been awaiting execution for more than 21 years for strangling four people. He had claimed his cancer medication would interact with lethal injection drugs and cause unnecessary pain.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) A federal judge has ordered a Louisiana public school system to stop allowing in-school Bible giveaways.

The judge says the practice constitutes a violation of the First Amendment separation of church and state. But the school board plans an appeal.

BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. (AP) A Hollywood animal trainer has been killed by a grizzly bear that appeared in the recent Will Ferrell movie "Semi-Pro." Stephan Miller was bitten on the neck by the bear at a training center for animals used in Film and television.
