National Pretzel Day

Today marks a great holiday for all of you food fans out there.

I know me personality, I can't go to the mall without stopping for a pretzel.

And that's why Lauren and I couldn't say no to the opportunity of spending some time today working at the Pretzel Maker in the Dakota Square Mall for National Pretzel Day.

The Pretzel Maker celebrated the occasion not only by having us work for them but by also raffling prizes to people in the mall and by giving gifts and balloons to children along with their pretzel.

The first 100 customers to come to the store and say "Combo Crazy" were given one free salt and butter pretzel.

Needless to say I took advantage of that offer.

Manager of the Pretzel Maker Tammy gave away Basketballs, baseballs, Footballs , and even a Hannah Montana toy to kids roaming Dakota Square.

Tammy said she enjoys this day every year because it gives her a chance to give back to some area children and have a fun day at her store.

Lauren and I though were more concerned with who could make the best pretzel and the people of the mall were the judges. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
