Three lottery tickets go unclaimedJul 11 2008 4:15PM
Associated Press HELENA, Mont. (AP) Two $100,000 prizes from last year's Montana Millionaire lottery game have gone unclaimed, and the money will be turned over to the state's general fund. Lottery spokeswoman Jo Berg says the tickets were not claimed by the end of June. The drawing was held on Dec. 31. The tickets were sold at Quigley's Quickstop in Ulm and the Westside Grocery in Whitefish. Lottery officials also say a $10,000 Hot Lotto ticket from a Dec. 12 drawing also went unclaimed. It was purchased at Gehlen's IGA in Lewistown. Berg says the $10,000 will be included in money the lottery transfers to the state in September, while the $200,000 will be included in quarterly transfers in December. Berg says the lottery turns over to the state between $1 million and $2 million in unclaimed prizes each year. She says much of that is smaller prizes. (Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press.
