EL PASO, Texas (AP) A Fort Bliss soldier missing since Friday has been found hurt, but alive. Her sister says she spoke with Army Private Jeneesa Lewis yesterday. Lewis said she'd been beaten and stabbed. Her husband has been jailed on a charge of aggravated kidnapping.

BAGHDAD (AP) Barack Obama is getting an on-the-ground inspection of Iraq, his first since launching his bid for the White House. Upon landing in Baghdad, Obama wasted little time in starting meetings that are to include top military leaders.

GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba (AP) Military prosecutors hope the trial of Salim Hamdan, a former driver for Osama bin Laden, will showcase a tribunal system that has seen repeated legal setbacks. Jury selection from a pool of military officers begins today at the U.S. Navy base in Cuba.

Washington (AP) House Speaker Nancy Pelosi thinks President Bush will blink when it comes to a housing rescue bill he's threatened to veto. The measure is expected to include a government lifeline to mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The House is scheduled to vote Wednesday.

MIAMI (AP) Tropical Storm Dolly is moving over Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. Four-to-six inches of rain are expected to fall there and in western Cuba as it heads to the Gulf of Mexico. The storm is expected to strengthen and could become a hurricane tomorrow.
