Airmen, B52s to leave for Guam

Airmen, B-52s to leave for Guam Eds: APNewsNow.

MINOT, N.D. (AP) About 300 airmen from Minot Air Force Base and several B-52 bombers will begin leaving this week for a five-month deployment to Andersen Air Base in Guam.

Minot base spokeswoman Major Elizabeth Ortiz says the base also has about 300 personnel in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and Kyrgyzstan.

She says the deployment to Guam is a regular deployment for the Minot base.
