Associated Press Stocks rebounded yesterday following a sharp decline Monday. Washington (AP) The president of General Motors says if GM went bankrupt, it would further erode confidence in the company. Fritz Henderson has told NBC that GM is ready to take a host of steps as part of a bailout the Big Three automakers hope to get from Congress. CHICAGO (AP) It may not be the job he wanted, but New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson is expected to be named this morning as President-elect Barack Obama's choice for secretary of commerce. Richardson who had been a presidential candidate had been mentioned for secretary of state, but that job went to Hillary CLinton. WASHINGTON (AP) Former President Bill Clinton says his wife was "shocked" when she heard she was Barack Obama's likely choice for secretary of state. Bill Clinton also told CNN that it was hard for her to give up her Senate seat because "she adored being in the Senate." NEW DELHI (AP) Two eight pound bombs, said to be left over from last week's terror attacks in India, have been found in Mumbai's train station. Police say they were defused.
