KXMCTV Minot But when Nadine Dockter received a major award last fall, it came with pencils and markers, paper clips and sticking notes... even a digital camera and a brand new office chair. Nadine teaches fifth grade at South Prairie school. She received the region's Day Made Better award from Office Max. Principal Del Groninger nominated Nadine for the honor describing her as a teacher who gives her all to her students... And in Nadine's case, that means purchasing classroom supplies out of her own pocket... (Nadine Dockter, South Prairie School) " I bet I spend $12-hundred a year on school stuff... whether it's on bulletin boards, or we have a lot of us have incentives rewards for the kids. If they get... follow all our classroom rules, I give out a lot of magnets, pencils, staplers, pencil boxes. I get all of these from like Office Max and areas in town, and yeah, it adds up." Nadine has been teaching for about 24 years.
