YMCA raffles Earnhardt car

The YMCA is raffling off a Dale Earnhardt Junior collectible car.

This is not one of those you have to display.

This is one you can actually drive.

Mcquade Distributing is donating their number eight Dale Earnhardt Junior replica car to the YMCA.

They are selling raffle tickets for five dollars with all proceeds going to the two million dollar capital campaign for the YMCA addition.

Last month the YMCA broke ground on its twenty seven thousand square foot expansion to be completed in October of 2008.

Andy Dahl says this raffle is a creative way to raise money and show support for the facility.

(Andy Dahl/ Missouri Valley Family YMCA) "They are getting a lot of people just saying my gosh five dollars a ticket is that all. So there is a lot of people really curious right now and I anticipate when we get the whole gear going here in the next couple of weeks with I Keating location, up at Gateway Mall here at the Y that we will see a lot of ticket sales moving here in the next couple weeks or so."

You can purchase raffle tickets at the YMCA, Herbergers, I Keating Furniture World and Dans Supermarket.

In addition to the car, you also have a chance to win a two thousand dollar shopping spree at I Keating, five hundred dollar shopping spree to Herbergers and a one year membership to the YMCA.

The drawing will be held on January 17th. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
