MADRID, Spain (AP) Five-time major winner Seve Ballesteros (by-eh-STEHR'-ohs) is stable but still undergoing tests after suffering a dizzy spell this week.

La Paz University Hospital in Madrid says it's not known when the 51-year-old Spaniard might be released. He was taken to the hospital Monday after briefly losing consciousness.

Ballesteros has a long history of back pain. He retired from competition in 2007 after winning the British Open three times and the Masters twice. He also accumulated 50 victories on the European tour.
