CANCUN, Mexico (AP) Isaac Sosa scored 19 points and Central Florida hung on down the stretch to post a 66-64 win over South Dakota State Saturday at the Cancun Challenge.

Garrett Callahan's two free throws pulled the Jackrabbits (2-4) within 65-64 with less than a minute to play, but that was as close SDSU would get.

The Knights (3-2) pulled away from a 58-58 tie with five straight points and never trailed again.

Sosa was joined in double figures by Taylor Young, who had 10 points.

South Dakota State got 16 points and 11 rebounds from Kai Williams. He had 15 points in the first half, helping the Jackrabbits to a 40-32 lead. But SDSU shot just 23 percent from the field and made 1 of 9 3-pointers in the second half.

Callahan had 15 points and Mackenzie Casey added 10.
