Hi Care I am writing you a letter for the morning, but I just want to tell you something... Lacrosse is not something that they play in North Dakota. None of the schools have it. Morning T and everyone else,
I have come accustomed to waking up to a lil hello from you Theresa....thank you for that. You are like a cup of coffee and the newspaper rolled into one. LOL!
Thanks for watching the video....they appear fast but they are safe. Cute uh? Can you believe those boys are only 7,8,&9???? I love it. When I was at the track watching my nephew for the first time I wasn't nervous. Either it is because I know he has the equipment on or because I grew up at a dirt track (cars) with my father and uncles all racin', I can't help it that is in my blood!!! I love racin'. My daughter is a lil gear head too...she prefers old chevys like vettes, and chevelles. HAHAHA!! That's my girl!!
Today our weather is, hold let me look outside...sunny, a couple of clouds....I hear a chance of thunderstorms. LOL!
Your Barrack Obama posable doll has me cracking up. I suspect Theresa, that if you and I had a real world friendship we would keep each other smilin and laughin, no doubt about it. Sounds like we may similar senses of humor...and we both know that is important.
No new news here....Today I may actually read your news....I did that a bit before I started posting alot, like you, I compared real estate.
The problem with the rain isn't the mud, the city owns all our ballfields and they decide to cancel...they don't want to ruin the fields. That is why the coaches, out of their own pockets, have brought the team to batting cages and the indoor field for the scrimmage the other night. We are all trying to figure out what to do with 12 girls and equipment...nobody has a big enough yard...for all of us really...I could get 4 girls playing pass in my back yard at the most....but then again we can't devide the team up...and never have them practice as a team...all will be fine though...I can't wait until her 1st game as an allstar. The kid has worked so hard...this was her 4th season, 1st allstar try-out...she has earned this. Alot of hard work from my 10 not quite 11 year old. Her bday is the 12th....she is getting older...all of 11, my baby!
You wait, si ko, your kids are young. Wait until you are going from a baseball/softball field to a lacrosse field to a band concert....fun, fun, fun!!! All worth it...but a bit of advice...one sport per child per season....that is more than enough.
Happy Fourth Everyone!!!
Stay safe,

Hi Care, KO, Pets, Brats, Sneaky and anyone else that is out there, how are you today? I am fine here, it looks like it is going to rain here today, my son will be happy he won’t have to work. Care I looked at the video, it was so fast. It made me feel like I was on a roller coaster, it was good. I would worry to death about kids going that fast, but I know the parents take all safety precautions. Biddeford is a great town to me, because it is Maine and you are close to the ocean. Does Maine have hurricanes? I think it is most likely too far up, but you most likely get the remnants do them.
Doing the usual Looky look at the Portland Herald Express, not much happening there. Again cold and rainy, we have the same weather almost every day. I see all the rain is destroying all your beaches, when is going to stop raining? It must really suck for your little girl, with softball, it is so hard to play in mud. Every day when I sign on to the Portland Press herald, the ad for Dunkin Donets come up, I can smell the coffee and chocolate cream donut right away. I can’t wait to go back to New York in a few weeks

I bought a Gumby yesterday on E-bay for my photo album, the new Adventures of Barack Obama. Gumby and pokey will add much to his adventures. I know you’re on Montana Ko, but I just wanted to check in. Have a great time!

Hey everyone,
YE-HA, off of work today through Monday, I don't return until Tuesady!!! It is dry outside so far, then again it is only 830am. Give it time...actually it looks like the sun is trying its best to come out!!! I can only hope!
Theresa, the fourth we are camping at the motocross track...my stepson is racing his 2nd race ever...I'll be watching for the 1st time. My nephew is racing is 2nd or 3rd season...I have only watched a couple of times. With the girl in allstars, I haven't had any down time...so this weekend is a really good getaway for me. No ball!!!! Last night we had horrible rain storms...the coaches rented an indoor field...the girls had a lil scrimmage...loads of fun. My daughter is learning signals, very funny to watch. She is quite smart and quick...coach showed her once and she knows them. She has always been that way. Photographic memory, that one!!! Very proud mom, I am!!!!
Biddeford is ok not the ideal small town...we are close to the river and ocean...the city itself has always been a lil bit dumpy....Saco is much nicer. See I am from Saco originally and there has been a battle between Saco and Biddeford forever...high school football rivals. Battle of the Bridge they call it!!! I have a TA sweatshirt, my high school and my hubby has a tigers sweatshirt, his Biddeford team...we will go out on the motorcycle together wearing our rival sweatshirts...people will actually comment, when we stop for a butt or at a store...once in line at the store...a couple oldtimers and their wives got the biggest kick out of the fact that we were married and wearing the sweatshirts...fun times!!! So anyway I say that Saco is nicer and Rol, my hubby, originally from NYC, but has been in Biddeford since his younger years will tell you Biddeford is better. Traffic has tripled in the past decade easily!!!
Rol was stationed at OFFUTT, Nebraska, he worked for electronic security command. He was in the Air Force for 6 years. 2 regular and 4 in the guard. He wishes now that he stayed. Planes and flying have always been a passion of his since he was young. For work he builds jet engines for the military and commercial planes.... He has his pilots license for small planes. I have flown twice with him, loads of fun....love those small prop planes. He owned one while married the 1st time around but while divorcing he sold it...bought the harley...that pizzed of the x, she hated flying and wanted him to buy a bike...lol!!! Now I ride with him and forget that I am half her size...ouch that was mean....oops, sorry. hahahah!!!
I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday weekend, maybe I'll catch ya tomorrow morning before leaving.... Reply...

Good Morning Care, KO, Pets, Brats and Sneaky Cat and everyone else, how are you today?
Sneaky this forum was started with personal stories and thoughts. Feel free to join in. I misunderstood what brats, said and I apologized for it. Anyone can read this forum, it would be nice to hear more personal stories. It is a safe room that we can talk about our religion or lack of it without being slammed. I just get tired of people telling me to move back to New York. It has happened so many times in different forums. I am open minded and have different views on things, sometimes people hate me for it. My husband and my self made over a hundred thousand dollars last year and every penny was spent in North Dakota. My husband and I don’t even buy anything made in china and that is allot of stuff. Look at your toothpaste, it is most likely made in china, ours is not. We buy everything Dakota made. We poured twenty seven thousand dollars into North Dakota schools, and some of that were parent loans for school. If I could move back the east coast I would.
Care in my opinion lives in my perfect idea of a town, Biddelford Maine. It is raining like crazy there and her daughters are in softball. I just like to hear how they are doing.
http://pressherald.mainetoday.com/story.php?id=265933&ac=PHnws
It is the town I always wanted to live in, every Steven King book is centered in a little town in Maine. She is close to ocean. Visiting Biddelford is on my bucket list. I know I will go because I drive up the coast to Massachusetts at Halloween is a tradition. We go to Salem every year to celebrate the day with some real freaks. We already have reservations at a hotel for the next three years, because it gets that busy. It is the Mardi Gras of the East coast.
I can’t wait to hear about KO’s trip to Montana, and more want about Pets animals, no one in this room will say she is a bad person. I think she is great.
This is good mood room.
I would like to hear if Sick-O is reading this because I have a 2 page answer to why women, need sex.
Care, how is it going besides rain and rain? What are you doing for the forth? We don’t really go anywhere my son has a job at the local pool as a lifeguard. What is anyone doing for the forth. Let’s hear about it. I love you all. Talk to you later Theresa

Theresa, It is your free choice to post all your personal info on this forum.......but, please keep in mind that it is a very public forum, meaning, anybody on the face on the earth can stumble upon it, and read everything all of us post. That being said, I think maybe your Facebook page would be a safer place for so much personal info - that way, you pick and choose who you "allow" to see and read what has kind of become a personal journal, bordering on a diary of sorts. Another option would be a blog, they are becoming very popular. I don't think Brats had any ill intent in her post..........remember that what you have written may have been aimed more towards what you consider your "Forum Friends", but like I have posted before, we DO NOT know who reads these posts. I think it is an issue of personal safety................ Reply...

Hi KO, Care, Pets and everyone else. Ko you can come over anytime! There are lot of million dollar homes in Minot. Up here on the north hill there are tons. My house is not any where a near a million dollar house, but it is our house, and until the mortgage is paid off or least for the next ten years we are here. I will be 61 in ten years that is when I hope to really travel. I love Ireland; I have been there eleven times over the past 40 years it never gets old. If I could move anywhere it would be there. I looked at a house there while I was stationed in Iceland. We went to Ireland on a leave and it was really tempting. My friends and I did castles and pubs tour three years ago and it was so much fun. Maybe some time we can all go. It doesn’t cost very much it depends on how many weeks you want to go. When the mad cow thing was happening, we went on a tour for three weeks for less than $2,000.00 including my airfare from here. With you there Ko we wouldn't have to pay for any drinks.
Today I worked at the soup kitchen, it is a hard day. There is this one man, his name is Albert, he dresses and he thinks he is Adolf Hitler. We are wack, but who am I to call anyone a wack?
Michigan and Ohio are both nice states, good luck finding employment; I know the unemployment is bad in both states. Too many men and women get out of the military thinking that finding a job will be easy, when it never is. My husband is still searching for the perfect job. For me, after 23 years as Law Enforcement in the Air Force there are not a lot of job options. So I suck my retirement, and his retirement, and he gets to make more money at another career. I can’t see myself working for anyone, I am to strong willed and I like to be in charge.
Did you guys see the story about the pet python snake that killed the infant in the house? How silly is that having an infant with a big snake. It happened in Florida here is the link,

The police don’t have anything to charge the parents with. I think there should be a dumbass law, and they are the first to go.
I am sorry brats I took your post the wrong way forgive me.
Care I looked at your forecast, rain, rain, rain and then more rain. Maybe we should have Sick-O do your weather also. I hope you can squeeze some softball games in. Is funny I never noticed how many things can be name mainly. Like Mainly Hot Tubs, Mainly lobsters, mainly bagels, Mainly Cars. It is great to be a mainly person. How great is the Ocean today? Every day I walk the paper route with my son, and think about the ocean. There are people here in this town that has never seen the ocean. How great it is to see the sun rise. The fireworks don’t start in this state until about 2230; it is still bright until then. My father always remembers that about Minot, how bright it was in the evening. Oh well see you later. Have a nice evening everyone. I am so tired from the soup kitchen, I am going to collapse. Theresa Reply...

Mornin T,
I just got done with the PPH, and the article on Holland, the alleged murderer. I read some comments...boy oh boy people are upset that he was allowed in court in suit and tie instead of the standard York County orange jumpsuit. It would appear the race card is working, he is getting special privialeges already. I never heard the one story where he threatened to put a bullet in the x and her lawyers head...I told ya on day one this dude was nuts. I like how the witnesses say that the brother ran across the street b/c he was ordered to stay away....ok, I find that hard to believe, also they were on bikes not foot, I saw their bikes at the scene that night...the FD was hosing down the street...washing away the blood I suppose. It'll be interesting, this guy's rap sheet is very very very long...too bad Maine didn't have the death penalty.
On to happier stuff...still fog, mist, rain and possible chance of Thunderstorms...the report does say that Sat & Sun are suppose to be sunny and no rain...fingers are crossed. Thank you for explaining your religious background. Mine is, mother catholic and father protestant they couldn't agree what to do with us 4 kids so they did nothing. One brother is a believer another is atheist another is a member of a some church or was (maybe 7th day adventist??) and I have ????'s lots of questions. My husband was raised catholic along with his x wife so I believe their 2 kids are catholic. My oldest dad's family were raised baptist....I am completely confused now....no clue what to do. A friend once said I wouldn't make it in catholic church and should I decide she recommended I try a baptist church first...LOL! She has known me my entire life, I will trust her on this one...hahahah!
How are the dogs doing? I was happy to read you rescued them from a puppy mill. I hear the reports about those mills it is gut wrenching and heartbreaking. I got my dog the old fashioned way...in divorce..lol! My boss split up with spouse and had no where to take the dog, so I agreed to three days of babysitting. The dog, Yogi, liked it so much here and I loved him so much, that he got to stay!!!
Have a great day!! Reply...

Wow, Good Evening Everyone,
Guess the journal idea is working?? LOL! So many new names...new to this thread...forgive me it will take me a few post to get aquainted with everyone.
Someone mentioned not missing the traffic, and also growing up in a small town...where is that small town may I ask? I was born and raised in Maine with a couple years in Arizona and as an adult a couple years in Daytona, Florida. I am have been home for years....would love to retire in AZ, although with the nice things I've heard about ND I am reconsidering...'cept we want nice winter weather for motorcycling and flying....should we retire wealthy, hahahah!
I can handle out "traffic" a bit better then the hubby. Our area has grown quite a bit since I was 6-7 years old...bringing along lots of traffic...I can relate.
chat again,

Hi Brats – I hope you weren’t being mean saying why I don’t move back to the East Coast. My Husband and I are both retired military. Minot Air Force base is where he retired from. We had a house here so we decided to stay here. He wanted to retire in Alaska, I hate Alaska. I wanted to retire in New Jersey; it was the closest to New York that I could afford. We stayed here. We have a thirty five hundred square foot house with nine bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, with a four person Jacuzzi hot tub, an enclosed rain shower with 23 vibrating heads. I have a walk in closet in the master bedroom that is 20 foot wide15 feet long., 10 feet high with shelves that move. This house in New York would cost over a million dollars. If you live in Minot, the house used to belong to Dr. Peterson. He is the person whose bust is in the Norwegian park, for building the church there. I love the people of Minot, they are kind and nice. I have never met a person in North Dakota I did not like. I miss the great coffee shops of the east coast, Dunkin Donets, Bagel places, a place to worship God, but we retired here. If you don’t like me please leave this forum for people that like me. Theresa, don't take this the wrong way but, if you miss NY so much why not move back there? We moved here from another state because we wanted too, yes I miss alot of things. But everyone in the small town we live in is like family. Everone watches out for each other and always there with a helping hand. You can't find that in alot of other places. I grew up in a small town and it was just like this, then it got bigger and you didn't know alot of people anymore. When I go back to see our families I go to the places that I can't go here and get what I want. I don't miss the traffic either, that's one of the bad things about going back. Some of our friends even ship stuff we can't get here to us, that way I have just about everything we need. We have unlimited calling so we call all the time and that's great because you can talke to who you want whenever you want. The weather here is about the same as where we came from, but not -20 or more in the winter, that part stinks. Reply...
