PS Merry Xmas SG Reply...
Luke!! I am so glad to see you back... where have you been? www.australianchristian.com I am guessing.. :)
I am also against abortion of course, but I will always leave that open for only a very young rape victim (if of course she chooses it)..there was a recent rape victim that was 10 and had a healthy child, so it happens, but I still say if it(any abortion ) happens it is still murder.
Rapist need to be immediately castrated.... without anesthesia..
HOw is australia? Are you praying for America since we have turned socialistic?
I cannot understand, well, maybe I can understand, since I as you have know the ending of "the Book".
Greetings... Reply...
I'M Back!

Wow I should have really posted on this a long time ago when it was started. There is no way I am going to read 6 pages of long posts. So I think I can sum up Galatians like this. Paul see's the doctrine of Christianity at it's infancy being corrupted. Example would be Peter not eating with the non-circumsized. He later goes on to explain why the mosiac law no longer applies. How Jesus is the only way to God and heaven, that good deeds do not save you. I like how he states that freedom comes with responsibilty. I think that is one of big problems as a country. In fact I think all the letters from Paul can be summed up like this. They set the basic doctrine for christanity, and how to live as a good christian and a good person for that matter. Reply...
Dagny, I hate to disagree with you, but you are not a conservative, PERIOD. You can justify it all you want, but voting for one of the most liberal politicians of our time makes you a clear cut liberal. Reply...

your comment (posting as: Good Lord on Oct 13 2008 10:01PM
I'm willing to bet anyone that ND goes McCain and I'm betting the final tally on election night will be greater than or equal to 5%. Than again, all one has to do is look at the history of the state and the makeup of population to see this.
You have a poll from a month ago where McCain led by 13% and now you have a different poll that says that Obama leads by a couple. Truth probably falls in the middle. Obama pulled all his staff out of ND for a reason and that reason is that his internal polling showed he was going to lose and the 3 EC votes he would earn are not worth people resources he was spending. His campaign folks may say otherwise but it is exactly what the move demonstrated and the only reason a candidate pulls his staff out of a state that early.
I made a single prediction concerning this election and it was this. Now I didn't think it was much of prediction because I think anyone with any knowledge would have seen the same thing but tonight it appears with 90+% of the precincts reporting, it is a 53-45 lead. By my math thats 8%. How that is in play, I have no idea. Pundits called the state as soon as the polls closed. So much for a close race in ND for president. Reply...
Religion will do nothing for you, correct.
Faith is the true Messiah (not obama) is the ONLY WAY. Reply...
There was never more than one Christian, and that was Jesus, himself, and though he transcended organized religion, he was born, lived, and died a Jew. As for Muslims and Christians .... why bother with either? Religion is a personal thing. Why organize religion if it only gives us hate, suspicion, and fear? Reply...
Death and haveing a baby, yes, you are right pets. they are equal.
I am 99% against abortions except in the case of rape (of the young) and incest.
Just by comparing the two pets is very disgusting. The 13 yr old was probably put into a deep hole with just her head showing. The many people threw stones, while 1000 spectators watched. Reply...
It could be this way at some time in the near future; in America a 13 yr old girl gets raped by 3 men. She isn't allowed to have an abortion because the religious right Repugs have passed laws making abortion illegal. Now, besides the trauma of the rape, she has to go through nine months of hell with each day reminding her of what happened all over again. She goes through a difficult labor and delivery, gives the baby up for adoption, and spends the rest of her miserable life wondering why she had to be punished for something she had no control over, and for doing nothing wrong. We need to remember how great America is.
Somolia, a 13 yr old girl gets raped by 3 men, then she gets stoned to death for her sin. What is wrong with this picture? Reply...

Thanks, Vickie...there was a relative in my family whose boyfriend wanted her to have an abortion... she decided against it at the last minute even though it was not going to be an easy road for her to go down to keep the baby... this child who was born almost 6 years ago is the most precious and loving little boy in the world. How much our family would have missed out if he had been aborted.
Believe it or not I have actual memories of being in my own mother;s womb...do people really believe the baby inside the mom who is aborted cannot feel the pain and the rejection of being unwanted...I believe they can and that they do.
God created life for a reason and not so it can be easily or carelessly destroyed... if a person doesn't want a baby and they find themselves pregnant then I believe the loving thing to do is to allow someone else to adopt the child who can give the baby a good home and make them feel wanted and loved....... Maz you sound very compassionate.
The baby is totally seperate from the mom, has rights of its own.
You realize probably 95% of abortions are for convenience, and probably less than 5% for rape or incest.. That tells me that the women and young women should just not have unplanned sex.. Make sure you have safe birth control.. Reply...

In the book of Dueteronomy in the Bible it says that the shedding of innocent blood brings judgement on a nation......I wonder if some of what our nation is going thorugh is just that ....judgement.... because our nation has shed alot of innocent blood........50 million or more innocent babies have been aborted........killed ...innocent blood.... I just wonder>>>>>>
Choice? Did the babies have a choice in their destruction?

Didn't the supreme court during roe v wade SAY that they DID NOT KNOW WHEN LIFE BEGAN? if so, then why go towards death, why not since you do not KNOW, go towards life??
Should we try to do this with puppies and kittens? Should we have doggie/kitten mills where owners take them to have the salin solution injected, or to have the kindly dr. tear the kittens/puppies out piece by piece...
No one would like that, especially we that love animals.... should we do any less to a human child.
I have said before, and will again.... Barack should have to be forced to watch an actual partial birth aboriton before he decides if he is ok with it or not.... anyone agree.
You may say, then shoppe being pro capital punishment should have to watch a lethal injection... fine, I would do it.... Reply...

I'm kinda curious. When is a baby a baby?
Let's see: if I desperately want a child and am pregnant with multiples and my babies are born at 24 weeks. Of course then they have to do anything possible to save the babies. Right?!
Now, if I am 24 weeks pregnant and I don't want a baby: it's NOT a baby. Abortion is my option. Right?!
Now let's think further. My fetus is 34 weeks old. I want it, save it. I don't abort it. Right?!
Now let's go further. My abortion went "wrong" and the fetus survives and is born. Now what? According to Obama I wanted an abortion and so we wait for it to die. Right?!
When is a baby a baby? Can I still change my mind after it's born?
