The way I understand it is that the Alltel assets will go to AT&T.
I get internet anywhere there is cellphone signals. Including 75 mphs down the interstate. (of course not while driving) Reply...

If you really had talked to the AT&T rep they would have told you that they're buying out Alltel not Verizon. (No longer current news) The government would never allow the 2 largest wireless carriers to merge. That's a Monopoly, (Not the board game).
Figured that you would have learned about that in your sports marketing class @ MSUM.
Sorry but your credibility is at stake.

Good Job Fossil!!
If I wanted to deal with the stress and my daughters bio dad I would go for it and win. The DHS of ME. is handling the case...every once in awhile I will receive an update from them. The last one was that there were going after his drivers license, again...take it I say, it isnt like he uses to go to work, or to the post office to mail out a child support payment. He certainly hasn't ever used it to bring the kid to the doctors or school or a softball game....screw him! His loss, my girl made the allstars softball team...I will admit that the athletic gene she received from him...the only good thing he ever gave her. Of course there is the crazy/lazy gene that runs deep in is family I hope she didn't get that one!!! LOL! Reply...
My ex did the same thing,I found a Judge in Minot and had my day in court about her not paying CS............I did my own talking in court with two people I trusted(no lawyers).............I recieved action and fast! The CS office got their asses chewed,I got my CS and back pay! Reply...
The exwife is still running around Minot owing me 28,000 plus dollars. I call and call, still nothing happens to the low-life mother. When she had the kids I got two months behind and they wanted to take all my licenses away. Doesn't seem fair. I was called a Deadbeat, and she gets a free pass. Good luck getting any help from CS. pets, the way I understand it....way back in the day the rich folks didn't tan...tans and dark skin implied being poor and working outdoors and in the fields...over the years...eventually it changed to the rich affording vacas at the beach, where tanning was expected....I can't tan I'm irish I get sunburned, hahaha! Plus I just can't lay around outside under the sun...I don't get it either. All of what you mentioned about the vit...sorry I forgot how it is spelled. Well anyway, I remember hearing that he had that disease, along with all the speculation of whether or not he truly had it....he was definately abused I do not doubt that for a second. The whole family seems to have their own issues....maybe a pitfall of fame at such young ages. MJ, was in the spot light for 46 years....I can't even imagine, never ever having a day where you could go to the store or dunkin donuts w/o getting accousted by a fan or the papparazzi....can you? People who choose that life need to be able to expect that, but did MJ really have choice, seems how is father basically pushed him into the limelight at the age of 4....
I do find it all very interesting...
and I dont want the title/topic to go off course and be hollered at...so maybe we can continue on another thread...any ideas? LOL! Reply...

Just thought of something; why do so many white people go to such extremes to darken their skin color, aka, tanning booths, risking skin cancer laying in the sun all summer to get a good sun tan? I know people that go to tanning booths all winter just to keep up that tan look. What's up with that? Don't they like the color they were born with? Reply...

I heard some time ago, that Michael Jackson had Vitiligo, which is a skin condition that causes loss of pigmentation of the skin. Anybody can get it, but when a person of color gets it, it can look really bad as it causes a patchy look on the skin (patches of white). My older daughter has Vitiligo, but since she is fairly light complected it doesn't look too bad as of yet. There is no cure for this disease. How do you suppose a dark skinned person would look with patches of white all over their body? Anyway, I;m sure you can google vitiligo and see pics of people with this disease, and then ask yourself if you would want to look like this. Michael was lucky to have the money it would have taken to have his skin lightened all over so he wouldn't look that way. He eventually went all the way, and had more plastic sugery to make his features match his skin color. So, this is the reason MJ changed his looks, according to what I have read in the past. He didn't do it because he wanted to be white. Nor did he do it because his dad abused him (which really did happen).

dont free willy I have to say I agree with you....97% of black people voted for obama...smells of racism to me too!
rye, seriously I am not sure why you went into a chat about republicans, do they bug you that much? And I watch alot of hannity the name Hal Turner doesn't ring a bell...so about the Turner/Hannity connection, could you be a bit more specific...also no matter how horrible hal is if there is a friendship between him and hannity who cares? Hannity didn't run for President, obama did, so it is his relationships and friendships that need to matter...ayers, bad guy, friend of obama's the president, not cool! Reply...
On a personal note I don't care...about MJ and his life choices , I just find it all very strange...very interesting, very wierd, etc....what a look into the human psychy(sp?)....????? Not to change the subject of black and white like the topic is titled....forgive me if I have gone off course, rye, I noticed you were the first to mention republicans and then you went into a conversation about civil rights act....I didn't read every post after but did you have a reply to shoppes original question/post...do you have an opinion about why the 3 people would embrace a parents culture over the other parents culture? just curious....not starting an arguement....I try to follow your post but all the civil liberities talk...got me bored, I'll have to look again when I'm in the mood...I already have a headache today! Thank you I do appreciate your posting the history of civil liberties act...it's just for menot today. Reply...
"All three WERE ABANDONED BY THEIR BLACK FATHERS AND RAISED BY THEIR WHITE MOTHERS. But instead of seeing themselves as half-white, they prefer to see the themselves as half-black. They ALL choose to identify with the fathers who ditched them, while insulting the women who struggled to raise them. "
You bring up a good question, topic, call it want ya want.
I find this interesting. Also you can think about Michael Jackson being raised by both his black parents and being abused by his father...then over the years he is slowly going from as black as can be...to what he looked like when he died...what the heck is that all about? Thinning the nose, straightening the hair, lightening the skin, marrying to white women... Reply...

No, we won't reject the claim that the real racists voted for obama.
97% of blacks voted for obama, and since it was proven that many did not even know what he stood for a valid claim can be made for racism.
Now if 97% of whites voted for McCain that too would have been a basis for a racist slant in the voting. Reply...
As for cell phone service, this so called president is getting together with providers and will be making people buy from the highest rated provider in your area.No choices will be made by you.Thats why ATT is buying everyone out.Welcome to socializom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have Alltel, and I already know they are changing to Verizon. I have the Wi-Fi for my laptop, and get internet anywhere. I go to New York as often as I can, and always have cell and Wi-Fi service. Reply...
Well my sister got an email two weeks ago (she is a recent verizon switch over from alltel) said that AT&T would be buying Verizon assets in ND. Which would mean that AT&T would have a monopoly, which is exactly what the gov't didn't want.. I am concered about about this because my internet is through alltel. Which is completely unlimited but both Verizon and AT&T have limited options, which means I will pay if I download over their limit. I need the mobile internet with all the travel I do. I would apppericate the ability to use the internet with having to scope out each individual towns wi-fi areas. Reply...
