BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) Bozeman Soccer standout Kirsten Tilleman has been named Gatorade girls soccer player of the year, for Montana.

Tilleman moved to defense after playing midfield for two years.

She helped Bozeman to a record of 14-0-1, and the state Class Double-A championship.

The six-foot-one junior allowed just nine goals, all season.

Besides her soccer accomplishments, Tilleman is an all-state Basketball player, and a two-time state triple-jump champion.

The national Gatorade award will be announced on Wednesday.
