I have never had a problem with walmart nor have i ever been so called stalked by any employee! Nor have i seen anyone else! Did you maybe look suspicious or did you let your children run around?? So they followed you big deal they obviously didn't follow you out to your car and to your house, I would rather someone follow me and see that i am not shoplifting then someone they didn't follow and did shoplift! Because then we all get the pinch by the stores rising up their prices!!

I refused to shop at Walmart unless I absolutely have to as some things are cheaper with Healthy Choice meals, but I was threatened by an employee and have only gone back a couple of times since. Reply...
I am a rarity, I have never been stalked in a dept store.... what wrong with me? Reply...
I always hated minot... theres some wierdos there I tells ya... they enjoy the stalking part a lot... was your skin a tad brown?perhaps?lol.. as for pressing charges/the best you Probably will get is the person fired IF you can get a HOLD of one of the ceo's in the Wallsmarts.LOL.. which is okey with me...I lost few for peeps a time or two.. and they did the same to me cos we were all fighting..LOL. funny how things like that happen..I like the "Watch my cart while i browse" way better..lol.. i sooo would do that. very interesting post, wow went from being stalked at a store to judgements of ones on welfare and back to being observed in a store.
the situation has happened to me, finally i just blurted out to the person following me, I do not like you following me and i am not here to steal anything. for what i want, have the cash to pay for it, if i decide to purchase the item after you following me all over the place. he was the mangager and i told him, you can quit following me and i will continue to shopp and pay for my items. Or i will leave this store and not return for futher shopping ever. Really is the people that steal, fraud and ect, that make life not pleasant for those of us who chose to be law abiding. Reply...
Target gives huge amounts of money back to the community. If anything, they should have a WalMart scan and keep the dirty poor folk out of there. I love shopping at Target but 1 dirty WalMart shopper who has lost their way can totally ruin my day. Reply...
I was at the mall yesterday and there was still a ringer in the mall section just outside of Target so they aren't getting totally banned!! Reply...
Every major retail sotore does it whether you know it or not. It's just that most of them use people who have a little common sense and try to do a better job at concealing their efforts.
They are called Loss Prevention Specialists. Sometimes they work in plain clothes, sometimes they are unifirmed security people, and sometimes they wear store uniforms or smocks.
In addition, they also have eyes in the sky and cameras in almost every aisle. There are times when they deliberately try to be obvious, and that is when they have received reports from other stores of people to watch. They sometimes get very detailed descriptions of customers to be on the lookout for. Unfortunately, too many people use their children as a cover. There have been many cases when shoplifters have been apprehended and investigation proved that they actually used their kids to either cover for them, or to even actually steal items from the store. Across the country, retailers lose millions of dollars to theft, and we all pay for it in the end.
If you experience a situation like this; First if you are innocent, you have no need to worry. Just go to the customer service desk, and ask to speak to a manager. If they refuse to send a manager down, then politely tell them that they can keep the merchandise you have already placed in your cart, and that you will be shopping elsewhere from now on. Then go home, go on the internet and find their website and contact their customer service division. Explain the situation, the time and location in which the incident happened.
If they value their business at all, they will most likely send you a gift certificate and an apology.
Of course, if you really were shoplifting, thank your lucky starts that you were able to get out of the store without having to go out in handcuffs, and then take a good look at yourself in the mirror and aks youself if this is really the life you want to live.

Just let out some gas, scratch yourself a few times...they may leave you alone then lol I havent had that happen to me...probly cuz I spend like 100-200 almost every time I go in the store lol... Reply...
High five to you Min!! ROFL That advice seems to work at all the stores. Reply...
Just act like you need a question answered. That should get all Wal-Mart employees off of you quickly. Reply...
I applied for a job at the south high wal-mart a tad back and they called me in JUST to look at my I.D. because of my last name which is totally native!.. they told me OH! we just wanted to see if your name was real or not..then left me standing there them beanhuggerz! Reply...
Oh my, our Loss Prevention at Walmart is a joke! Although they catch people every week....the man is large tall black bald guy walks around with head phones in ears....he follows people every day. Sometimes he is ducking in and out of aisles or peeking around or through shelving to "catch" someone he "thinks" is stealing. If you walk into the bathroom, i.e. women's bathroom or family one he can't follow you. Even if he found evidence of a stolen merchandise he can't stop you unless he has proof he saw you steal. That is the only time they can stop you or you have a legal lawsuit for defemation of character. Remember that. I've had the man follow me, I just walked around endlessly fast, lol. Stopping for a while looking at nothing, just to see him peeking around the aisle, funny stuff. wished i had a camera to take his picture. Reply...

Target is supporting the Salvation Army and St. Judes this year, as they always have. Target's Nice Twice, Gifts for a Cause. Also, if you check Snopes, Target has indeed banned the Salvation Army bellringers and everyone else who solicits at the door. The difference is that Target is still making it possible for people to make a donation to the Salvation Army. They aren't against what the Salvation Army stands for, but if they allow solicitation of their customers by one group, they have to allow all groups to do so or be accused of discrimination. I guess they figured this was the happy medium in a situation that wasn't perfect. Reply...
